Gunn IMS Acupuncture is a technique using acupuncture needles to treat pain of neuropathic nature.  It is useful for nerve pain related to the neck and referral to the arms or back pain with referral to the legs.  Acupuncture needles are also used in dry needling which is primarily directed at tender trigger points in muscles. Your physiotherapist will determine if these techniques are beneficial treatments to help manage your pain.  The physiotherapist is certified and rostered with the College of Physiotherapists of BC to assess & treat with these techniques.
